UGA Noteworthy is the female a cappella group and is made up of fourteen very talented young women.  Last year, their CD titled “99 Problems But a Pitch Ain’t One,” was honored by CARA as Best Female Album and Best Song “Hear Me Out”). They also had the song “Wonderwall” sung by Casey Branch, one of our local Cartersville natives, put on the” BOCA” and “Sing 3” albums which are compilations of the very best in the nation. Maggie Smith, another Cartersville native, had two nominations for her arranging and writing.

The UGA Accidentals, the male a cappella group, is equally as talented as their female counterpart.  Their last CD, “Fourteen and Change” will be on sale at the concert. In 2007, these talented guys came in second at the semifinals of the ICCA. The song, “Aint No Sunshine,” was featured on “Sing 3” also. This group is currently working on their new CD which will be released next year. Chase Dudley, one our Cartersville natives, is in this group. Call for tickets so that you do not miss this opportunity to see these wonderful performers!
