Red Top Ski Resort in Question

The bill that would have allowed significant tax exemptions for investors and developers to build a million-square-foot indoor ski resort proposed for Red Top Mountain was vetoed this week by Govorner Sonny Perdue.  While no response has been heard from developer Steve Winters, it is unclear whether the project will move forward or not.  This venture could bring 2,000 jobs to our double digit unemployment rate, and millions in revenue to the local economy.  Stay on the lookout for more news surrrounding this possibility for Bartow County.
